What a lovely Log Cabin variation. Like the color combination, but am especially struck by the quilting. What a novel idea to use portraits. Have never seen this done before!
this is the most amazing quilting i have ever seen. when i first saw the quilt i was taken back because of how pretty it was but when i saw this quilting i said "you have to be kidding me!!" and stopped watching the lost finale just to show my husband. this is memorable and stunning and just so cool

WOW. Ang, I am super impressed. The dino one is adorable too. I've been interested in learning to quilt since I was in college... even took a class once, but it was "improvisational quilting" and didn't really teach me the basics that I needed to know. I keep telling myself that I'll pick this up when my kids are older and I'm not so busy, but here you are with two their age, moving, applying for teaching jobs, and still quilting away the whole time. Makes me think!
